This is for 5 of our top quality, certified and fully plant pass-ported, potted Green Privet (Ligustrum Ovalifolium) hedging plants trees - 4-5ft tall.

You can plant potted plants all year round - just keep them well watered! Green Privet is a long time favourite for a quick growing low maintenance evergreen hedge. They do not require good soil and will quickly make a dense hedge which will grow up to about 3 metres in height if required but are easy to maintain from 4ft upwards. They will grow approx. 25cm each year with average conditions. Can be planted in full sun or partial shade. Trim once a year around the end of August. The plants we are the ideal size for planting out and will get established quickly and give you an instant barrier and hedge line.

Plant as a double or zig-zag row with a total of three or four plants per metre - all you need to do is select the number of plants you are after and the size you want to buy! Don't worry if some of the leaves drop off when you first plant them - this is entirely normal for privet and all will soon grow back! If you order 15 or more plants we will send on a pallet for you so we will call you to make arrangements using a tail lift so they are easy to drop off! For best results use Rootgrow when planting - it can increase the rate of growth by up to 50% - just contact us if you're not sure how much you need!
